Information
Product description
Very fast, extremely strong and liquid instant glue with Direct Stop
Technology: at the moment no more pressure is exerted on the tube
applied, the outflow of glue stops immediately. Easy and clean to use.
use.
Liquid quality; the glue flows into the smallest nooks and crannies. The adhesive is
also dishwasher-proof and water-resistant.
Area of application
Ideal for small areas (not suitable for large surfaces). Glues
almost all solid and flexible materials such as leather, many plastics such as
hard PVC (polyvynil chloride), ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer,
shock-resistant styrene), PS (polystyrene), acrylic resin ((Plexiglas®))
polycarbonate ((Makrolon®)), phenolic resin ((Bakelite®)), porcelain, ceramic, wood
metal, cork, felt, fabric (test suitability first), rubber.
Only partially suitable for glass (after a period the bond becomes brittle
which weakens it). Not suitable for PE, PP, silicone resins and rubbers
(Si), PTFE, Teflon®, polystyrene foam, fabrics and leather clothing.
Properties
- With Direct-Stop-Technology
- Does not drip, with backflow effect
- Easy and clean to use
- Super fast and extremely strong
- Dishwasher-proof and water-resistant
Preparation
Processing conditions: Do not use at temperatures below + 10
°C. The adhesive reacts best at a humidity of 50-70%.
Personal protection: Cyanoacrylate adhesives cure very quickly in
presence of moisture (such as air humidity, moisture in the skin, sweat
skin sebum, tears). Take this into account during use, especially with regard to
regard to children and skin and eye contact. But even without
treatment, cyanoacrylate adhesives naturally dissolve with time.
Surface requirements: The materials to be glued must be clean, dry, dust- and
grease-free and fit well.
Pre-treatment surfaces: Dust, oil, grease, wax or any separating agent
should therefore be carefully removed from the surfaces before
you start gluing them together. The best way to do this is to clean the
surfaces several times with a suitable solvent,
such as acetone (if suitable for the material - check first). For
metals and metal alloys, it is usually sufficient to roughen the surface
roughening using sandpaper or by grinding or brushing.
Processing
Instructions for use:
To pierce the membrane, tighten the entire cap, clockwise on
the tube. Then unscrew the black sealing cap again - and it is ready for
use!
Do not press on the tube while piercing. Apply the glue as thinly as possible directly
from the tube on one side through the nozzle (too much glue delays the
curing considerably!). Place the parts directly on top of each other and press.
Depending on the amount of glue applied and the material
the adhesive polymerises into a synthetic resin within 60 seconds and bonds the
parts very strongly. For adhesives with low humidity, the curing time can be
can be shortened by breathing briefly on one of the parts to be bonded.
The best results are obtained at room temperature. Basic
reacting surfaces accelerate the curing of the adhesive, acid reacting
surfaces (e.g. wood, ceramic, porcelain, leather) delay the curing
of the adhesive. After use, clean the nozzle immediately with a dry cloth or tissue
clean and close with the cap.
Stains/Residue: Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth. After
curing, glue residues are very difficult to remove. Acetone will make the adhesive
decompose very slowly (check for suitability).
Tips: If skin is stuck, soak for as long as possible in warm
soapy water and avoid forced attempts to remove the glue,
then moisturise the skin. Another option is to
rub fingers together in warm water and try to get a paperclip
or a piece of wire between them. After some time, the fingers can be
separated. The affected surfaces can also be treated directly
with acetone or nail polish remover. If organic solvents also remove grease
remove, we recommend applying a hand cream. Should
stains of glue remain, these can be removed with a pumice stone.
If the glue has got into the eyes or mouth, the eyelids or
mouth should be kept open and rinsed out immediately with plenty of water.
If necessary, consult a doctor.
Due to the specific fumes produced from cyanoacrylate adhesives, it is
advisable to ventilate rooms well when using relatively large
quantities.Points of attention: Warning: The instant adhesive contains cyanoacrylate.
Hazardous: Sticks to skin and eyes within seconds. Keep out of
reach of children. May cause respiratory tract irritation. In case of
consulting a doctor, carry the container or label. Inhalation
of vapour. IF ON CONTACT WITH EYES: rinse cautiously with water
for several minutes. If possible, remove contact lenses and
continue rinsing.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry, cool, frost-free place. Storage below + 5 °C (in the
refrigerator) ensures maximum shelf life.
Physiological properties
Cyanoacrylate adhesives are largely considered physiologically safe.
Warranty
Only for manufacturing defects.
