Information
Product description
Super strong, universal contact adhesive based on neoprene rubber. For
countless repairs and jobs that need to be fixed immediately. Extremely
suitable for materials under tension. Moisture and frost-resistant.
Temperature resistant from -40°C to +70°C.
Field of application
Extremely suitable for bonding flat joints or laminating of
many materials which must be able to be bonded, loaded and/or processed immediately.
Glues, among others, wood, board, veneer, plastic and metal cladding panels
(HPL, e.g. Formica®), (foam) rubber, leather, cork, canvas, linoleum and
polyether foam (sound insulation) both among themselves and on many substrates.
Also for repairs on e.g. shoes, bags, toys, carpets, or for
making (hobby) handicrafts. Not suitable for polystyrene foam
(Tempex®, polystyrene foam), PE, PP and vinyl.
Properties
- Instantly adheres
- Super strong
- Suitable for materials under tension
- Universal
- Liquid
- Moisture and frost resistant
- Easy to process
- Temperature resistant from -40°C to +70°C
Preparation
Processing conditions: Glue and parts to be glued at
room temperature. Relative humidity should be lower than 65%.
65%. This is to prevent blistering of the end result. After bonding
correction is no longer possible. Always test on an (inconspicuous) part of the substrate first.
the substrate.
Surface requirements: Surfaces must be dry, clean, dust-, grease-free and
well-fitting. Clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded for an
optimal result.
Pre-treatment surfaces: For optimum results, first
degrease.
Tools: Solid brush or fine-toothed (1 mm) notched trowel for spreading large surfaces.
large surfaces. Pressure roller or rubber hammer for solid
the materials.
Processing
Consumption: 2-2.5 m²/litre, applied on both sides, depending on the type of
the materials to be bonded.
Instructions for use:
Stir well before use. Preferably do not dilute Parts must be clean,
dry and grease-free. Coat both surfaces completely. Allow to dry
minutes. In the case of porous material, apply a second coat and
allow to dry. Then join parts together and tap firmly (with a
rubber mallet) or roll on.
Stains/Residue: Remove wet adhesive residues immediately with Degreaser/Thinner
for Bison Kit®. Dried adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically
or with a paint stripper (test beforehand).
Points of attention: For an optimal result, both the adhesive and the parts to be
parts to be bonded should be at room temperature (do not process below +10°C).
The final strength of the bond depends on the applied pressure. Pressure
therefore as well as possible over the entire surface. If the adhesive bond
with porous materials comes into prolonged contact with water, the adhesive may detach from the wet substrate.
release from the wet substrate.
Storage conditions
Minimum 24 months after production. Opened containers have a limited
shelf life. Store cool, frost-free and tightly closed. Shelf life at least
24 months.
Warranty
Only on manufacturing faults.
