Product description
Iron-strength and metal-coloured 2-component epoxy adhesive.
Area of application
Ideal for iron-strong repairs to metal objects that have to withstand extreme conditions (forces, vibrations, (sea) water, heavy loads), such as tools, parts of cars, motorbikes, bicycles and mopeds, metal (garden) fences or cutlery. Also suitable for sealing a
of a small hole in the radiator. Suitable for bonding metals (steel, aluminium, iron) together or in combination with stone, wood, concrete and various plastics (such as Formica, polyester and Bakelite). Not suitable for Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), P.T.F.E. and silicone rubber.

Preparation
Processing conditions: Only process at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Product cures by mixing the resin and hardener.
Personal protection: Preferably wear gloves.
Surface requirements: The materials to be bonded must be thoroughly dry, clean,
dust and grease-free.
Pre-treatment surfaces: Degrease parts to be glued with acetone.
Roughen smooth materials (sandpaper).
Tools: Mix the components in the double syringe using the
mixing tray and spatula.
Processing
Mixing ratio: 1:1
Consumption: Due to the very fast curing time only suitable for small
bonds that can be bonded within 90 seconds. Consumption: for
1 ml = approx. 1 cm² at a layer thickness of 1 mm.
Instructions for use:
Remove the spatula from the side of the double sprayer and the sealing cap
from the handle. Break the seal of the double syringe. Press an equal amount of both components out onto the mixing tray provided. Mix these two equal parts well with the plastic spatula until a mixture of homogeneous colour is formed. Apply the mixture, which remains workable at room temperature (+20°C) for approx. 45 minutes, thinly onto either material. Join materials together and hold in place for 10 hours. Take care not to move the parts before the adhesive has cured. After use, clean the nozzle with a cloth and place the special cap from the handle on the double syringe. Resin and hardener must not come into contact with each other outside use.
Pot life: 45 minutes
Stains/Residue: Remove wet stains immediately with warm water and soap. Cured adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically.
tips: There are types of plastic you cannot glue such as polyethylene and polypropylene. You can test this by holding a glowing copper wire against the plastic. Does it smell like candle wax? Then you can't glue it.
Use a piece of tape to hold the parts in place while the glue cures.
points of attention: Close tightly after use (Note: always replace the cap
the same way, due to the cap sticking to the double syringe). For optimum performance, it is important to prepare a generous amount of adhesive and mix it very well. The curing time depends on the temperature. Adhesive does not cure below +5°C.
Drying times*
Hand-holding time: approx. 10 hours
Drying/curing time: approx. 24 hours. At lower temperatures the curing time
curing takes longer, at higher temperatures it is faster.
* Drying times may vary depending on substrate, applied quantity of product,
moisture content and ambient temperature.
Storage conditions
Minimum 24 months after production. Opened packaging has a limited
shelf life. Store cool, dry, frost-free, straight up (nozzle facing up) and well
sealed.
Warranty
Only for manufacturing defects.
Right of return
You have a trial period of 14 days. If the product is not to your satisfaction, you can return it to us. The product can only be returned if the outer packaging (seal) is closed.
