Information
Product description
Universal, crystal-clear assembly adhesive and sealant based on unique
SMP technology, with high initial adhesion and fast final strength build-up.
For bonding, mounting and sealing of virtually all (construction) materials
on virtually all substrates (both smooth, porous and non-porous
substrates). High initial adhesion. Crystal-clear. Superfast.
Area of application
Adhesives: e.g. glass, stone, natural stone, concrete, plaster, many plastics,
wood, chipboard, Trespa®, iron, aluminium, zinc, steel, stainless steel and other metals,
ceramic tiles, cork and mirrors.
Fitting: including skirting boards, mouldings, battens, window sills,
thresholds, fascia boards, sheet material, insulation material, plasterboard,
polystyrene ornaments and mouldings.
Sealing: including skirting boards, (plastic) frames, stair treads, window sills,
thresholds and plasterboards. Also suitable for sealing cracks
in walls and ceilings. Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE and bitumen. When
always first conduct an adhesion test. The adhesion
may vary depending on the type of plastic and the quality of the plastic.
the plastic.
Properties

Preparation
Processing conditions: Only process at temperatures
between +5°C and +40°C.
Surface requirements: Both parts must be firm, clean, dust- and grease-free.
Use of primer not necessary. Substrate may be slightly moist.
Tools: Canister with sealant gun (e.g. Bison Power Pistol).
Processing. If necessary, use a rubber hammer for tapping.
Processing
Consumption: For dotwise bonding: 5-8 m²/kg. Striping: 1 tube yields approx.
8-15 metres of adhesive (depending on diameter cut-off nozzle).
Instructions for use:
Before use, open the tube at the top by opening the plastic nipple above
the thread, using a sharp knife. Then attach the nozzle
and cut it at an angle to the desired diameter. Gluing and
fitting: Cut the nozzle to a diameter of at least 0.5 cm.
Sealing: Cut the nozzle at an angle depending on the desired joint width.
off. Gluing and fitting: Apply sealant in stripes or dots (every 10-40 cm)
plus always at corner points and along the edges of board material. Material
in the right place within 10 minutes and press firmly or lightly
tap with a rubber hammer. If necessary, clamp or fix heavy materials for 4 hours.
or fixate. Hand-tight after 2 hours, the joint is now sufficiently strong for transport
or light load. Maximum final strength after approx. 4 hours, depending on the
substrate (at least 1 porous material) and ambient conditions.
Sealing: Apply sealant evenly to the bottom of the joint and
smooth out within 10 minutes with a moist (soapy water without lemon)
putty knife, sealant spreader or finger. Vertical joints from bottom to top
smoothen vertical joints from bottom to top. Complete curing after a few days (depending on layer thickness).
When repainting with alkyd paints, the paint may dry more slowly.
dry. Stains/Residue: Use white spirit for cleaning tools and
removing wet glue residues. Dried glue residues can only be
mechanically removable.
Points of attention: The drying times below are based on the bonding
of at least one porous material and an adhesive layer with a thickness of approx. 1 mm.
When bonding two non-porous materials and/or a thicker adhesive layer,
considerably longer drying times must be taken into account.
When applied under water, the adhesive may turn white. Avoid
direct contact with UV radiation (e.g. in outdoor sealing applications).
Drying times*
Skin forming time: approx. 10 minutes
Hand-drying time: approx. 2 hours
Curing time: approx. 2 mm/24 hrs.
Final strength after: approx. 4 hours
* Drying times may vary depending on, among other things, substrate, applied quantity of product,
moisture content and ambient temperature.
Storage conditions
Minimum 18 months after production. Can be stored for a limited time after opening. Store well
Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
Warranty
Only for manufacturing faults.
Right of return
You have a trial period of 14 days. If the product is not to your satisfaction, you can return it to us. The product can only be returned if the outer packaging (seal) is closed.
