Preparation
Processing conditions: Do not process at temperatures below
+10°C.
Surface requirements: The materials to be bonded must be thoroughly clean, dry,
dust- and grease-free and well-fitting.
Pre-treatment surfaces: Degrease with acetone or Bison Degreaser.
Acid reacting surfaces (such as aluminium) must first be treated with diluted
ammonia and then rinse with water and dry.
Lightly sand metals.
Tools: Can be applied directly from the dispenser using the very fine
fine dispensing tip.
Processing
Consumption: One drop is enough for approx. 2 cm².
Instructions for use:
Before first use, the Tipper® must be made ready for use. Screw
fully tighten the black cap on the device (with ratchet closure) until
it cannot go any further. Then unscrew the black sealing cap again. During
do not apply pressure to the wings while opening. Apply the glue unilaterally and
thin by pressing lightly on the wings of the Tipper. Place the parts directly
together and press for a short time (10-60 sec.), so that the glue
spreads evenly over the surfaces. Hand pressure is sufficient. The joint
can be further strengthened by letting some extra glue flow into the glue joint.
flow. When bonding metal, the curing time can be shortened by
briefly breathing on the bonded part before putting the parts together.
After use, clean the nozzle of the Tipper® immediately with a dry cloth or tissue.
and close Tipper® by replacing the cap. Expose the adhesive to air
expose to air as briefly as possible.
Stains/Residue: Wipe off excess adhesive immediately with a dry cloth or similar.
After curing, it is very difficult to remove adhesive residues. Acetone dissolves the adhesive
(only very slowly).
Points of attention: Caution: Second glue contains cyanoacrylate. Hazardous:
Glues skin and eyelids together within seconds. Keep out of reach of
children. If contact with skin has occurred, avoid
forced attempts to remove the adhesive. In such cases, the adhesive will
be repelled by the skin by itself. Then wash the skin with water.
If the adhesive has got into the eyes, keep the eyelids open, rinse immediately with
water and call a doctor. Separate sticky fingers by
soaking well in water and then rolling between them with a pencil.
Drying times*
Hand-holding time: approx. 10 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the nature of the
materials to be bonded. After 2- 5 minutes, the adhesion is sufficient for practical
use.
Final strength after: approx. 24 hours.
