Advance Tapes removes AT4 & AT27 tape from range
Advance Tapes withdraws AT4 & AT27 tape from range
Advance Tapes has discontinued production of Advance AT4 and AT27 tape. These insulation tapes are widely used in the entertainment industry. Due to ongoing raw material shortages in PVC and staff shortages at Advance Tapes, they have therefore decided to discontinue these two Advance production lines. These AT4 & AT27 tapes will therefore no longer be produced.
Whether these 2 types of tape will ever return to production is something Advance cannot say at the moment.
At the moment, we still have a small stock of Advance AT27 and a small stock of AT4 in white and these will be available to order until stock runs out at Tape-Deal.com.
Our alternative
Advance AT4 is the thin variant insulation tape of the well-known Advance AT7 tape. The Advance AT7 tape remains available in all colours in our range of course with plastic core (especially for the entertainment industry). There is currently no alternative available for the Advance AT27.
As another alternative for the AT4, we have the PVC tapes by Tesa or TD47 Products.
Obviously, these tapes are not 100% comparable, but a great alternative. Do bear in mind that these tapes have a cardboard core, especially in entertainment, the roll can get damp after which unrolling the tape becomes a lot more difficult.
