Innovative ability of Pica Markers is made visible in several world firsts:
Pica invented the "deep hole marker" and has been copied many times, but never achieved. What about the original? No matter if you are drawing or labelling, drawing a line along a spirit level or a gauge, or marking in a deep hole - you only need one marking tool.
When ink marker stops working, the most common reason is a dried-out writing tip. That's why we invented the "swivel nib". Pica-Ink is the only marker with removable writing tip, so you can easily flip the dried-out nib, giving your marker a second life as it quickly recovers on its own. This works fine several times over and is always a nice feature.
Another invention, available exclusively in every Pica-Ink, is the "telescopic tip". Similar to a sliding telescope, the guide tube adjusts to the nib length over a 7 mm range for triple the lifetime of the sensitive writing tip.
The blueprint of a "quiver-like-cap" was not known until Pica invented it. Just think of it as our gift to all crafters to mark in a "one-handed operation". With Pica, you mark casually along the work - because we know you only have two hands.
Pica-Dry has another novelty with technical ambition in its robust sharpener, integrated into the cap for perfect operation. You'll find it just there, easy to use, where we think it should be.
Pica's latest unique development is our Pica BIG Dry, the first mechanical pencil for giant square leads, built for heavy use. It is protected against dust and moisture and offers extremely long marking capacity with every single lead.
Once again, Pica marker broke new ground with the presentation of Pica VISOR - a board marking system based on dry gel crayon - for easy dry erase, but impossible to dry out. A real innovation for all meeting rooms and schools and our distribution for a more sustainable eco-balance.
