The Kip 228 aluminium tape is a pure aluminium tape for insulation and installation work on heaters, ventilation systems etc. The tape consists of pure aluminium (30 μm) and has a good adhesive strength. In addition, the tape is flame-retardant according to DIN-4102-B1 and resists temperatures up to 100 °C.
The aluminium tape can be used for taping aluminium-laminated insulation boards and for wrapping aluminium-laminated pipe insulation. In addition, the tape is suitable for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
