Kip masking tapes with the red core are proven paper-backed masking tapes for versatile use in indoor and outdoor masking and masking jobs. These adhesive tapes are resistant to water, thinners and oil, tear-resistant and pliable.
To achieve the best possible result, the right masking tape should be chosen for each application.
The following two points should be emphasised here.
First, you have different quality levels for different applications. These quality levels result from the structure of the masking tape.
Secondly, test joints should be carried out before using any masking tape, because the adhesion strength of an adhesive tape depends not only on the adhesive used, but also on the contact pressure, the nature of the substrate and the duration of adhesion ( the adhesion strength of a tape increases with the duration of adhesion) or environmental conditions (temperatures, UV radiation, etc.).
Test joints are therefore essential to prevent crack damage.
Plaster tape is a masking tape for plasterers. It is a light crepe tape with an adhesive made of natural rubber. Thanks to its good moisture resistance and long service life, the tape can be removed without leaving residues. It can be used for long periods and is UV- and moisture-resistant for up to 6 weeks. The stucco tape is particularly suitable for filling, plastering and plastering work and can withstand temperatures up to 110°C.
