Nichiban NT116 gaffa tape or also called Gaffer tape. This Podium Tape or Stage Tape can really be used almost anywhere and anytime and is available in Black, White and Grey and in various sizes.
Thanks to the special Natural Rubber Adhesive with extra sticking power, it leaves no residue when removed, but adheres to almost all surfaces. Ideal for temporary applications for up to 3 months!
Nichiban NT116 tape is made in the Nichiban factory in Japan from high-quality linen and is characterised by its sturdy quality, which is expressed in 80mu.
However, Nichiban tapes are easy to tear by hand both in length and width. Thanks to the strong polyethylene coating, the tape is waterproof and abrasion-resistant.
Nichiban Gaffer Tape can be used for bundling, finishing, repairing or reinforcing.
Nichiban Gaffa Tape sticks to nearly all (grease-free) surfaces and is (limited) UV-resistant.

The Nichiban NT116 Gaffer Tape differs from the 'regular' Nichiban NT1200 gaffa tape in that it leaves less adhesive residue when removed.
Nichiban NT116 is sturdier and therefore more suitable for vulnerable surfaces. We also recommend the Nichiban NT116 Gaffa Tape for long-term use (longer than 3 months).
Of course, the Nichiban NT116 can also be torn by hand in length and width and is fully water-resistant.
Note; Nichiban NT116 is not the same as Nichiban 116N as the name suggests. Whereas Nichiban NT116 has extra-strong adhesive, Nichiban 116N is actually a low-budget duct tape for quick and simple applications, where residue is more likely to be left behind.
