How do you tape a red carpet?

Make sure that the tape you want to use is not too narrow, we recommend at least 50mm wide tape for indoors and 75mm to 100mm for outdoors. This is because the ground outside is often not flat and a wide tape creates more grip. We don't want the red carpet to come loose and cause guests to trip over it.

The tape should be stuck inside 50/50, half on the carpet and half on the round. Outside, we recommend sticking the tape 30/70, where in the case of a 100mm (10cm) roll, you stick about 3/3.5cm on the carpet and the rest on the ground. Make sure to sweep the floor outside first, ideally with a soft broom, as this will remove most of the dust.
