The TD47 anti-slip grip tape is a widely applicable anti-slip tape. Anti-slip tape is self-adhesive and has an anti-slip top layer. The medium coarse top layer ensures a good grip in most situations; even on wet surfaces. The tape can therefore be used in both indoor and outdoor areas.
The tape comes in rolls or 1-metre strips. All tapes are 0.95 mm thick. The anti-slip grip tape is available in various widths and colours.
The tape consists of several layers. The grip comes from the layer of aluminium oxide. This is held in place by a polymer resin. As the aluminium oxide particles become statically charged, they stand upright in the resin, which provides more grip. The supporting layer consists of a 0.1 mm thick layer of PVC and solvent-based acrylic adhesive.
Anti-slip grip tape is available in many different colours and also as transparent tape. This also makes the tape very suitable for signalling in storage and work areas. If it is important that the substrate remains visible, but an anti-slip layer is still required, the transparent anti-slip grip tape offers a solution.
