TD47 Products cable ties are UV-resistant and resistant to diluted acids and oils. In addition, they can be processed at temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius. A cable tie is a handy tool for bundling, labelling or marking.

A TD47 Products cable tie, also known as a ty-rap, Tie wrap, or cable tie, is a type of fixing material specifically designed for holding materials together quickly and easily. Once the pointed end of the cable tie is inserted into the hole on the other side and has passed the first ridge, it cannot be withdrawn.
Tightening cable ties can be done by hand or with a cable tie pliers intended for this purpose, these pliers pull the cable ties to the maximum and then automatically cut off the remaining piece.

TD47 Products Standard Cable Ties are made from the material polyamide (PA 66),
a plastic which is mainly processed in injection moulding processes.
Polyamide is a hygroscopic material. This means that
polyamide not only absorbs moisture, it can also release it. For optimal application of polyamide cable ties, it is important that they have a moisture content of at least 2.5%, giving the cable ties the most optimal properties.
The packaging in which TD47 products cable ties are supplied ensures that the moisture content in the material remains at the correct level for as long as possible. It is therefore important to keep/storage the polyamide cable ties in the supplied sealed packaging to ensure the quality of the cable ties is maintained for as long as possible.
Our Tips for storing cable ties:
* Keep cable ties in the supplied packaging, opened packaging we recommend using up within one year.
* Do not store cable ties in the sunlight, as you sometimes see in buses "on the dashboard", this does not benefit the quality.
* Do not store cable ties near heat sources, such as a radiator or hot air heater.
* Optimal storage conditions are around 23°C, humidity around 50% and preferably in a cupboard or case out of direct sunlight.
